Long way from Conway (23 part 1/?)
Sep. 19th, 2010 08:59 pmA/N: Srry for the long wait and short chapter, but Adam's concert sure took up time!!!!!!!! :D
Anyway, I'll try to post second part soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thx for waiting for me :) lol
"Adam, there is no way Tim Tebow would EVER kiss you."
"Why not? I bet he would."
"He's straighter than my Dad, and that's saying something."
"Oh come on, I think he'd give it a try. I mean, he's adorable as heck. Doesn't completely fit my type, but just a peck on the cheek wouldn't be too rash, wouldn't you think?"
"Okay, no more watching the Broncos for you."
"Your cute little cousin said he would."
"You asked my little cousin if he would kiss you?"
"Hey, I'm not going against what little girls tell me. She said he is super nice and probably would. Now, do you think your little cousin is a liar?"
"She's a little girl, Adam. She thinks that her now dead pet fish swam off to become the next underwater pilot for the marines. Now, can you say still that she's a reliable source?"
"I still think he would, Kris."
"I say he wouldn't."
Tray of snakcs in hand, Leila came in and gently placed the tray down next to them, a smile on her face. Clearly, she could tell something was up.
"So, who exactly are we talking about here?"
Adam looked over at Kris and sighed. "Kris doesn't think Time Tebow would kiss me."
Leila laughed. "Adam, sweetie, I love you to death, but even I know he never would do that. He's like, straighter than Kris's Dad."
"HA!" Kris yelled, "I told you Adam, there's NO way!"
"Well aren't you nice," Adam replied quietly, "a boy can a dream, can't he? You don't have to be soon keen on proving me wrong, Kris."
Wrapping his arms around Adam apologetically, Kris placed small kisses to his neck. "I'm sorry. I guess I'm stupid to think that nobody wouldn't want to kiss you. Can you forgive me?"
Adam nodded. "I can't help but forgive a cutie like you. Hey, when we go to school in a few, can you help me with re-organizing my locker? It's kind of a train wreck in there." Kris giggled. Adam was known for making things look fabulous, but keeping things in order was not in his area of specialtise.
"Sure. Now come on, the bus must be close. Let's head out."
"Not without grabbing a snack for the bus, you guys don't!" Leila sternly said behind them, making the boys laugh as they turned back to grab a snack. The two ran out the door quickly, shivering as soon as they felt the cold air hit them, and then made a dash to the bus. Adam and Kris hopped on like always, saying hi to Casey as they passed her, and then casually making their descent to the end of the bus. Just as they were about to reach their seats, something stopped them in their tracks. A new kid who just happened to be sitting right in their spot, things sprawled out over the seat and laptop on his lap, was merrily enjoying the ride like he was the only person in the world. Okay, Adam had to admit, the kid was cute, but it certainly wasn't his seat, and unless Adam and Kris sat appart-which clearly they didn't want to do-, the kid had to move, and soon.
"Hey, uh, dude?"
The boy looked up at Adam annoyed with pale blue eyes, ones earily similar to his own, and then looked at Kris, this time with a more calmer look. This kid had to be trouble.
"Um, this is where we sit like, always, so could you please move?"
The boy rolled his eyes.
"It ain't your bus. I don't have to move for you."
Kris looked up at Adam. His face was beginning to look angryand he clearly was sad that he didn't have the power to make a simple guy move for his boyfriend. Kris decided to interviene.
"Um...pretty please?"
The boy gave one sly smirk and then began picking up his things. As Adam and Kris sat down, the stranger stopped for a moment, looked straight into Kris's eyes seductfully, and brushed up against Kris's shoulder, making sure to strut down to his new seat. Kris gulped.
"Well...uh...we got the seat!"
"He wants you, Kris," Adam whispered angrily, "I can see it in his eyes. He's the hunter and you're his prey. If you excuse me, I'm going to go punch his face out right now. Bye-"
"WAIT!" Kris yelled as he yanked Adam forcefully down to his seat, "You don't have to hurt the poor guy. He probably just thinks I'm cute and is hopelessly crushing on me. He might not even know we're together."
Adam glared back at Kris. "You are so blind to love. Kris I do not, and I repeat, do not want you going near that guy without me being with you."
Just before Kris was going to answer, Adam caught the stranger looking at Kris and unbuttoning his dark jacket to reveal rock-solid abs behind a tight white tank top t-shirt. No no no! Hot, cute, sexy, perfect body, and baby blue eyes? He's like me but 100 times hotter. Damn, Kris won't be able to resist him if he makes a move. I just have to remind him who his lips belong to. Hey, lover boy! Get a load of THIS!
Shocking the hell out of Kris, Adam grabbed him by the neck and slammed a kiss right on his lips. Soon, their bodies were pressed tightly together, the boys to swept up in the kiss to even care that there were others on the bus. After a few minutes, Kris yanked himself away from Adam's tight grasp, his chest pumping up and down as he tried to regain his breath and his eyes wild. Once he himself regained his breath, Adam looked over at the boy. Just like he had hoped, the boy looked angry and jealous as heck, his eyes narrow and deadly as they stared furiously at him. Adam giggled and brought Kris close again.
"You're mine mister. Don't think otherwise."
Kris nodded and scooted closer to Adam. "I won't."
"Come here you cutie."
Bringing his cutie up next to him, Adam wrapped his arm around Kris and let him rest his head on his shoulder. The boy furiously clenched his fists and shot back around, shooting his daggers somewhere else. Suddenly while hugging Kris close, Adam felt hot tears rush to his eyes, a few falling and reaching Kris's hair, making him nuzzle even closer to him to make him feel better.
You are not leaving me, mister. I just got you back and I will not let you go. I promise.

The whole school day so far for Adam and Kris was going pretty well with the exception of the ride on the bus. Kris had been sticking close to Adam the whole time, hoping that that would give him so breathing room so he wouldn't be paranoid. They hadn't seen the stranger in a long time, and by the looks of it, he wasn't in any of their classes. Lunch came fast, and today Adam wanted to eat alone with Kris so that he could get this whole stranger thing out of his mind. The two quickly found a spot near the big panels of windows that was partly covered for privacy. It was a perfect place for the two. Before they sat down, Adam excused himself to the bathroom, so Kris was alone. Just as Adam left, the stranger appeared and walked straight up to Kris.
"Well hello," he said smoothly in a husky tone, "what's your name?"
Kris looked around him to see if Adam was around, which he luckily wasn't. "Kris. With a K."
The stranger nodded and slid into Adam's chair, staring at Kris up and down with an odd look of need.
"I'm Ben. You're gay, right?"
Kris slightly blushed, cursing at himself mentally for doing so afterwords. "Yes."
"I am too. You a good kisser?"
"Um....why should I be telling this to you? I mean...I have a boyfriend."
Ben rolled his eyes. "One who is overly protective and has you whipped! Dude, he won't even let you walk around this school without you by his side."
"And what is so wrong with me possibly wanting to be with him for the day? Huh?"
"It's creepy. It's like you're his puppet on a string."
"And that's bad, how?"
Ben laughed and grabbed Kris's hands in his. Kris tried to flinch away from his grasp, but was too late. Ben had him prisoner for the moment.
"Look into my eyes, Kris."
No, Kris thought to himself, he has Adam's eyes. If you do this you'll fall into his little trap, Kris. Adam's mine and I shouldn't slip this easily. He would never cheat.
"I'm waiting."
"No," Kris whispered.
Ben suddenly pulled Kris closer to him over the table and kissed him, forcing Kris to not leave by pressing his neck tightly towards him. Ben began to go further, pushing Kris behind the privacy part of the space quickly and laying on top of him, nearly crushing Kris with his muscular body. A shriek escaped his lips as he tried to wrestle his way out of Ben's grasp, but Ben had him pinned. No one looked or suspected anything going on. It was the privacy seat, for Pete sakes. Everything went on there.
Kris again shrieked, this time for being slammed against the wall. Ben stared into his eyes.
"Look into my eyes."
"No," he choked out under Ben's grasp. Ben then kissed him again and tried to take his shirt off, leaving Kris helpless as he could neither push him away or scream for help. Suddenly, Ben instantly was gone, and a furious guy now had him pinned to the ground, a group forming around them as he yelled at Ben trying to pin him down.
It was Brad.
With the help of a few football players, Ben was pinned down to the ground, leaving him to be taken to the principle office. Once sure that the players had a good grasp on him, Brad ran over to Kris, picking up Kris's shirt from the floor and slowly putting it back on Kris, who was shaking beneath his soft hands.
"Kris, where's Adam?"
Kris was frozen, unable to even point. He looked in shock.
"Kris.....I need you to at least give me some clue. Please sweetie, tell me where he is."
Shaking, Kris managed to point to the bathroom, where Brad instantly ran to once clear on the place. As fast as he went in, he came out with Adam on his tail, running behind him straight to Kris. When he did reach Kris, Adam wrapped his arms around Kris, hugging him tight and kissing him gently.
"Did he do anything to you, Kris?"
For a moment, there was just silence from Kris, but then all of a sudden he broke down, crying loud and hard on Adam's chest.
"I tried A-Adam!" he said sniffling, "I d-didn't want t-to cheat on y-you."
Looking over at Ben, Adam caught his glance and glared at him angrily, mouthing 'this isn't over' to him, to which Ben smirked wickedly at.
"I know, Kris. It's okay. I've got you."
I've got you and I'm NOT going to let him hurt you. Even if it's the last thing I do.
