TV Guide Phone Call (Kradam Drabble)

A/N: OMG the special did happen for real, and literally, HOW could Adam not be in the top 20? Sadly didn't see the first 5, so....idk where he was placed. At least Kris was 15 :)


"Adam, let go of the phone!"

"Kris, I don't think you have to call TV Guide for something so dumb and meaningless as this is," Adam mumbled through giggles.

TV Guide had just aired a special called "Idol's 25 Sexiest Stars", and to Kris, Adam wasn't fairly placed at all.

"You weren't even in the top 20, Adam! For pete sakes, I was #15!!!! I wasn't the one who ladies threw underwear on stage for! Come on!"

Adam rolled his eyes and laughed.

"They were bras and so what, Kris. You and me both know that this means nothing. When I auditioned on Idol, I was trying to make it into the business. I just happened to gain you with my success." Adam winked at Kris, making him blush.

"Besides Kris, I think you deserve higher...but I'm not gonna' be a idiot and call TV Guide about it."

"I'm an idiot?"

"Missing the point, babe!"

Kris laughed at his crazy husband and pulled him close.

"You're my #1, Adam."

"And you're my #1, Kris. To them, we're not that sexy. To us, we are the highest of the high on this list. That's just I guess, how it is."

Kris nodded. He then slid into Adam's arms, kissing his cheek lightly.

"Adam?"

"What, my darlin'?"

"Can we still call them?"

Adam bursted into laughter, ruffling up Kris's hair.

"I guess, babe. But I'm gonna' talk, too."

Kris smiled, gazing into Adam's smirking eyes.

"Fine babe."

"Fine."

"Love you, babe."

"Love you, too."

"Can we call them now?"

"Grab my cell phone already, Kris."

I did get in touch with TV Guide and wrote them a letter about leaving Adam out. That was gross negligence on their part.

i saw the special, too. i remember it was back in december because i was staying temporarily at my sister's house at the time.
i was SOOOOO excited! idol's sexiest, right? you just KNEW adam had to be on there! if not #1, then certainly, near the top! but as it went on, all the clips showing "coming up" and not a speck of adam, i started to worry. and sure enough. not one WHIFF of my beautiful man! i was furious!
just more proof that homophobia is alive and thriving in the world... *shakes head sadly*
